Tim Gruber

Tim Gruber is a native of Minnesota where he grew up in a tiny town with a population of 554. Thanks to that small town in the famed Lake Wobegon region Tim had plenty of time to hone his childlike curiosity. Something he still carries with him everyday he’s out shooting.

Tim considers himself a storyteller and works to tell a story with every photo he makes.

Tim is a grad of the graduate program at Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication. Tim’s photos and multimedia have been honored by the PDN Photo Annual, Center(Santa Fe) Project Competition, Communication Arts Photography Annual, Magenta’s Flash Forward Emerging Photographer, The New York Photo Awards, Pictures of the Year International(POYi), The NPPA’s Best of Photojournalism(BOP), The Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar and many more.
