About Ackerman Gruber

We are storytellers. We are a visual duet.

Ackerman Gruber Images is the husband and wife team of Jenn Ackerman and Tim Gruber. The couple began their careers as newspaper photographers where they learned to be quick on their feet and nurtured the way they see the world. Since, they have won an Emmy and have worked for editorial and commercial clients around the world.

Jenn and Tim work as a team using both still photography and cinematic video to provide compelling visuals and storytelling to editorial, non-profit and commercial clients.

Their team approach allows them to provide diverse and creative coverage to their clients. On portrait and commercial assignments, they have an assistant that understands how the other works without even saying a word. On cinematic assignments, it means they can shoot two different angles. On an editorial assignment it means the two of them curiously exploring the story from different angles.
