Jenn Ackerman awarded $25,000 McKnight Fellowship for Photography

A couple of months ago I was awarded the McKnight Fellowship for Photography, a $25,000 fellowship for Minnesota photographers.

As Tim mentioned in a previous post about the Next Step Grant (which he won this year) we are fortunate to live in a state that has funding for the arts that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the country. Thanks to this funding Minnesota is home to a very vibrant and rich art scene. One that we are happy to say we are a part of. The McKnight Fellowship is one source of funding that has played an incredible role helping some great Minnesota photographers continue to create and flourish as photographers. I am beyond thrilled to be a fellow this year and to work with such an amazing foundation on a new project.
