Had an assignment yesterday that played well into my whole “Everything is Bigger in TX” essay.
You might know Joel Osteen as the TV preacher guy who smiles a lot.
Osteen’s Lakewood Church, in Houston, is the largest in the United States, with a weekly attendance of 45,000 and another 7 million watching on TV. His TV broadcast is the most-watched inspirational program in America and is seen in 100 countries around the world.
