Eddie Adams XXI

I had an opportunity to go to Eddie Adams this year and it was amazing.

I heard going to the workshop is one of those things that as a photojournalist you have to do. But it wasn’t until we were walking up the driveway to the barn, that I knew what all of the hype was about.

My story about a family struggling to have a fourth baby in these trying economic times was chosen for the group multimedia piece. You can watch it here. 153 Beats is the piece I worked on with Wes Pope.

Speaking of Wes, working with him was a great reminder of how great it is to work in a team. In addition to being a great producer, he allowed me to help tell the story. It was great having two minds working on a project together.

Here are some more photos from the project.
